July 11, 2002 tour happy We just got back from our first regional tour (15days) which included Cali, Oregon, Washington and Colorado. We had a blast out on the road! You can read all about it in our nifty tour Journal. April 30, 2002 The scoop on the Q Come out to the Whisky on June 12th to celebrate the birth of our new CD titled "Mate Asus Amigos". The CD was recorded in a timely fashion to preserve the raw vibe of the songs. We have also made the conscious decision to go by our maiden name …… Human Barbecue so that we don't have to answer the eternal question "what does HBBQ mean". We'll never tell! "Mate Asus Amigos" was mixed by Matt Gruber (Lit, Green Day, Ozzy) and mastered by Gene Grimaldi (Pennywise, LARS FREDERIKSEN & THE BASTARDS) March 30, 2002 Mate a Sus Amigos! The record is done! The cd has 12 songs and is called Mate A Sus Amigos. We finished mixing in 2 and 1/2 days with Matt Gruber at Ameraycan studios in North Hollywood. Raw and dangerous is the theme for this body of work. Look out for shows soon. February 14, 2002 Happy Valentine's Day We finished recording drums and bass on all 12 songs over the weekend at Sound Image in Van Nuys. We even got some guitars done too. Chad and Burman are some bad ass mofo's!! They really ripped. We are the finishing guitars this week. Look for some photos from the sessions soon! February 3, 2002 Greetings All, We are entering the recording studio Feb 9th to begin the recording of our new disc. We plan to follow up with a spring release and a summer tour. November 1, 2001 Dear fiends and lovers, We are taking some time off from our live shows to focus on the production of our new cd (Yet untitled). Right now we are currently in the final stages of the writing process, and we are very excited so far! The new songs are going in directions untraveled by us, heavier and more emotional than ever before. We plan to record around the top of the new year as long as everything goes as planned. August 20th, 2001 cheap bbq The boys have recorded their version of the classic Cheap Trick song "Surrender" for a Sigh-cotic music compilation cd. The cd is slated to be released in late September.
